HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

Texas Pride observes four holidays and when a holiday falls on Tuesday scheduled recycling pick-up date then be aware that it won’t occur until the NEXT regular pick-up date.

Trash Program

HOUSEHOLD WASTE

Household trash will be collected near the garage or side-yard gate in resident-owned cans between 20 and 95 gallons and under 50 pounds, or bags under 50 pounds.

YARD, OTHER

Yard waste should be bagged or placed in cans not exceeding 50 pounds. Branches may be placed curbside in clear, individual piles measuring no more than 3′ x 3′ x 3′, or tied and bundled no longer than 4′ in length or heavier than 50 pounds.

BULK items

Texas Pride Disposal will collect two heavy trash/bulk items per service day. Items include furniture, appliances, carpeting (tied and bundled), fencing (nails removed, tied and bundled under 4′ in length), and other items not disposed of regularly. Items should be curbside.

EXCLUDED Items include:

Acids, car batteries, car parts, car tires, chemicals, construction and remodeling trash (to include concrete, large quantities or rolls of carpeting, fencing, construction materials and debris), dirt, paint, large pieces of furniture including couches and sleeper sofas over 5 ft. in length, furniture with metal frames, metal bed frames, oil and tires, refrigerators (if Freon has not been remove and tagged), tree trunks and branches more than 3 inches in diameter and Hazardous waste. Hazardous waste items should be disposed of by residents at approved Household Waste Disposal facilities. Large pieces of glass (must be broken and placed in cardboard box and weigh less than 40 pounds), gravel, human or animal fecal waste (if not contained in plastic bag or closed boxes so Contractor employees do not come into direct contact with fecal material while loading into truck), paint, petroleum products or filters, rocks, and sand. Contact Texas Pride to clarify and coordinate pickup at extra charge, as necessary.
